What to Expect From Your Senior Session

Frequently Asked Questions

What will my session be like?

In a word … Fun. The staff of C3 Photography put all of the focus on you when you are being photographed. All of our photographers have an easy-going manner and humor that can put any camera shy senior at ease.

What makes C3 Photography different from everyone else?

Creativity. Your portrait will be brought to the highest level of creativity. Your images will be uniquely tailored specifically to you. No two images will be alike. We have spent decades refining our techniques so that the slightest tip of the head, adjustment of the light, or turn of the shoulder can make the difference between a mere snapshot and a stunning portrait.

How many outfits can I bring?

Each of our sessions come with a different number of changes. The best option is The Ninety. This gives you the most time to change into more outfits.

What should I wear?

Tops
Bring along your favorite jacket, sweater, or long sleeve solid top for at least one photograph. Make sure you pick colors that complement your skin tone and accentuate your body shape.

Avoid
Sleeveless shirts, white, horizontal stripes, loud patterns, tight fitting shirts, mini skirts, and shirts that show tan lines.

Identity Clothes
Uniforms, costumes, music, arts, dance … bring what you do.

Something Different
Bring something fun, different, formal or wild. Look to current trends and show your personality!

Something Casual
Your favorite everyday clothes. This is the outfit that you feel most comfortable and confident in.

Something Classic
A timeless look that won’t make you cringe in 20 years and makes mom happy.

Details
Bring hats, scarfs, belts or anything else that makes the outfit perfect.

Hair
Do your hair and makeup before you arrive. Do NOT cut your hair before your appointment (especially for boys), let it grow out a week or two. Guys, shave a few hours before your appointment to avoid redness. Please don’t do anything different to your hair before your session (i.e. change the style or color).

Props
Bring your car, sports equipment, instruments, pets, best friend, or anything else you can think of.

Remember
Check out your outfit in a full length mirror before your appointment. If you see something you do not like, the camera will see it too.

How many poses do I get?

The amount of poses is determined by which session you get. The longer the session, whether you’re indoors, outdoors or both, and props all determine how many images you have to choose from.

How long will it take to see my photos?

Your proofs will be ready in about a one to two weeks. Finished orders will be ready in about 4 weeks.

How do I see my photos?

Within two weeks of your photo session an appointment will be made for you to view and order your photos.

What if I break out with pimples on my appointment date?

Don’t worry. We Zap the Zits. We offer “Enhanced” retouching that takes care of pimples and blemishes. This includes retouching, softening of the skin, taking out stray hairs. Eye glass glare and braces are an extra fee.

Can I include my pet?

Absolutely! We love pets of all kinds. If they’re a special member of your family, then include them in your photo.

How do I set up an appointment?

First, check out our Session Options and decide what works best for you.

Second, call 603-212-9090 to reserve your appointment time. Time slots fill up quickly, so act soon. Seniors, if you partake in sports or any fall activities make your appointment in June or July before practices start. Make sure you find out what your deadline is. Some schools have early deadlines.

Third, sit back and relax. C3 Photography makes it easy from here. We will speak with you about session choices, clothing, if it rains, or if a pimple breaks out. We have it down so you do not have to worry. This, after all, is what you expect from great senior photographers.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as well as cash and checks.

How does the school get my yearbook image?

Each school has a set of guidelines for the yearbook for consistency. Check your school to be sure the image you choose follows those guidelines. Once you’ve picked out your headshot for the yearbook, we can send it over to the school for you.
